Metallurgical
microscopes may either be inverted or upright. Inverted metallurgical
microscope can be utilized for metallurgical applications and for a wide range
of microscopy applications. Such as crystallography, sand casting analysis for
iron metal foundries, metal patina analysis and for quality control. In other
terms, the inverted version mainly lets the user study larger than usual
objects.
